Approaching The End Of The Solo Overland Expedition...

All good things come to an end they say.

And it looks like this solo expedition won’t be an exception. 27 months that I left the country where I was born. I haven’t seen my family and my friends since January 2022.

Crazy for some, inspiring for others. I knew this had to finish, but it was still so far away… until it gets closer and closer. And time always flies at the end, like a provocative sign. Traveling is so powerful that I never felt lonely, nor bored. I learnt so much, about the world, and about who I truly am. The truth is: I still have my heart in Africa even though I enjoy the Middle East so deeply. I have a real and pure crush for Saudi and its mysteries, its wonderful people. But Africa is where my heart is, and will always be. I miss it. every. single. day. But the peacefulness and the safety of the Middle East is unbeatable.

On this photo, without my Rafiki on it, it’s hard to imagine the rest of my life without the Hilux of my dream, of my solo expedition. And that’s the reason why I have a plan. A new project, for Rafiki, and me.

But before telling you more about this, I will enjoy the next few weeks ahead, to the fullest, with an open heart, eyes and mind.

Last but not least, you can support this expedition and help me to make it last. It’s free but definitely requires a little bit of your time. But I promise you: you won’t regret it! You just need to subscribe to my Youtube channel (Charline Ribotta) and to enjoy the journey of my life. Simple but immensely important to me, as I enjoy sharing every bits of this adventure with you.

And of course, thank you for encouraging me so much. Humans do have magical powers.
