I spent a total of 3 weeks driving back and forth to Genesis Import, here in Germany.
But I couldn’t miss the opportunity to transform my Hilux Rafiki into the expedition camper I was dreaming of.
This was MAD.
I will always remember that day, while walking the main alley at the biggest 4x4 travel show in France, where a guy D. called my name waving at me.
‘Hey you’re Charline right?’ - quite epic to hear English knowing everybody here’s French.
‘I thought you were South African. Anyway, that’s my business card, call me sometimes soon, I wanna help you.’
Thanks Mister D. You greatly contributed to put me back on the road. Thank you for encouraging people to pursue their dreams and to help them come true, longer.
Almost a month later, I’m not driving a pickup truck with a rooftop tent but a proper expedition camper, which I hope will bring me where I wanna explore next.
And it’s not going to be Africa yet.
In the meantime, I’m hardly working on the documentary / movie of my last expe to publish it in the next few days, hoping it will help me to finance the next part.
